A wonderful stay
We loved our stay at The Sandhya. From the wonderful breakfasts, the perfect location on the beach and the cozy feeling of the lounge areas and rooms. Don’t miss out on surfing either.

This stunning hotel is THE place to stay on the south coast of Sri Lanka - it has perfect beach setting and is an easy walk into Ahangama for more cafes, restaurants etc. The design of this hotel is unique and we loved the spacious feel to the rooms and communal areas. The pool area is stunning. Breakfast was a treat every day - the banana roti pancakes were delicious. Lots of fruit and yummy homemade jams. All the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend this hotel to stay for your Sri Lankan beach break, you won't be disappointed.

The Sandhaug is a fantastic hotel located by the best beach in Ahangama. It has a 30 meter long new pool that is just delightful. The staff is very friendly, the service is great and the food is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more. Best and most luxurious hotel I have been to.

Friendly and nice staff making your stay very comfortable. Room is good. Service is good. Food is good. The pool is above 30 m and clean. Very near the beach with easy access. Quiet place. One big minus: the classic brownie with a very good mousse is hard to not order every day.

I recently stayed at The Sandhya with my family, and it was wonderful. The hotel has stunning ocean views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable, and the meals were delicious, featuring fresh dishes. Overall, I highly recommend The Sandhya for a great getaway at Kabalana Beach!

More than excellent, this hotel situated on the best location on the beach is not only beautiful but has given attention to every detail. The design is impeccable, the service always super good, attentive and quick, the staff is there to every wish always with a smile and good energy, also the food is excellent and the play list like all other details was thought of to make the experience perfect! Its my fifth time here and can’t wait for the next time and many more.

We’ve been here the 5th time and there’s a reason why: it is amazing here! The rooms, the house, the interior, the staff, the food and since this year THE POOL!!! It’s like the icing on an already fantastic cake 😍 We’ve been around the island quite a bit but there’s no place like the Sandhya and that’s why we always come back.
